As systems grow in scale and dependencies increase, the risk of failure becomes significant – delays, cost overruns and technical shortcomings.

This course provides an integrated approach that combines Systems Engineering (SE) and Project Management (PM) to support delivery on time, within budget and in line with stakeholder expectations.

The course is built around three core concepts:

  • define – doing the right things
  • plan – the right way
  • lead – all the time

  • During an intensive off-site week, internationally recognized experts share their experience in Systems Engineering and Technical Project Management.
  • Combine world-class training with outdoor activities and networking opportunities with professionals from different industries.
  • The result is a concentrated learning experience for professionals who need to lead when technical decisions, organisational priorities and stakeholder expectations interact.

Teachers

  • Dr. Dinesh Verma, Ph.D., Stevens Institute of Technology, USA – Executive Director of the Systems Engineering Research Center (SERC) and former founding Dean and Professor of Systems Engineering.
  • Dr. Jeff Wilcox, former VP of Engineering and VP of Digital Transformation at Lockheed Martin – business strategist and leader in digital transformation.
  • Tom Strandberg, CSEP, CAG Syntell AB, Sweden – Principal Consultant with more than 25 years of experience in Systems Engineering and lifecycle management; contributor to ISO/IEEE/IEC 15288.
  • Malin Calemark, CAG Syntell AB, Sweden – Senior Consultant with extensive experience as a project manager and systems engineer in complex technical system-development projects.
  • Guest lecturers: Tyson R. Browning (TCU), Annika Meijer-Henriksson (INCOSE Board Member).
